Hoesan Baekryeon
Heosan Baekryun Ji is a 100,000 pyeong sized reservoir built during the dark times of Japanese colonization. Most of the lotuses found in Korea are Red Magnolias. White Magnolias are quite rare. This makes the Baekryun Ji the largest habitat for White Magnolias in East Asia . It is also known among professional botanists as one of the few remaining group habitats for thorn lotuses. There are more than 30 varieties of lotuses and more than 50 species of other aquatic plants in the habitat and facilities that help visitors learn about the aquatic ecosystem of the habitat.
The White Lotus Festival is held around July and August every year.
Mt. Seungdal.
Beopcheonsa Mokwooam, located on the outskirts of Mt. Seungdal , was a Buddhist temple built in the year 725 (year 24 of King Seongdeok of the Shilla Dynasty), by priest Jeongmyeong from the nation of Geumji, located west of China. The temple is the branch of Daeheungsa Temple and designated as Traditional Temple No. 69 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Porcelain Experience
Buncheong Ware Kiln is located near Sacheon-ri and Monggang-ri in Mongtan-myeon. The potters have made buncheong wares since the three kingdom period using traditional methods. The kiln is known to have influenced Japanese porcelains greatly. Visitors can make their own wares themselves in the kiln and also learn about tea ceremony. Muan Buncheong Culture Festival is held around September every year.

Hodam Aerospace Exhibition
Former Air Force chief of staff Ok Man Ho established Hodam Aerospace Exhibition for his hometown’s love, practice and children’s love and dreams to nurture and love training aircraft, fighter jets and others by donation.
The exhibition is about 3,000 pyeong-wide and twelve life-size airplanes are displaced. In the exhibition hall, there are many materials and records that help children to learn about the history of aerospace technology.
