Habitat of White Herons and Common Herons
Sangdong Town, Yongwueol-ri, Muan County is a group habitat consisting mainly of White Herons and Common Herons.
Every March and April herons fly in from Southeast Asia to breed and then fly back south in October. Each year, nearby Mt. Cheongyong features a magnificent view of the fluttering white feathers of over 4,000 white herons, common herons, and snowy herons.

Hodam Aerospace Exhibition, where children grow their dreams.
Former Air Force chief of staff Ok Man Ho established Hodam Aerospace Exhibition for his hometown’s love, practice and children's love and dreams to nurture and love training aircraft, fighter jets and others by donation.
The exhibition is about 3,000 pyeong-wide and twelve life-size airplanes are displaced. In the exhibition hall, there are many materials and records that help children to learn about the history of aerospace technology.

Sikyeongjeong, the pavillion where scholars used to teach their students.
Sikyeongjeong is a pavillion where Hanho Imyeon build to teach their students in 1630. The surroundings are so beautiful that many poets and scholars visited the place in the past. The pavillion is looking down Yeongsan River, so the view from the pavillion is breathtaking.

The Birthplace of Cho Eui Seon Sa, the sacred place of tea ceremony
Cho Eui Seon Sa was a high monk who had inspired a rebirth of the depressed Buddhism of the late Joseon era, he was also a master of tea making, and was recently recognized as the tea master who breathed new life into the art of tea making in Korea
In May, 1997, he was selected as the cultural figure of the month, and Muan County restored the house in which he was born. It now stands as a monument and as a memorial museum. In addition, a tea culture museum as well as a tea school was established to create a sacred ground for tea lovers. To commemorate this place as a heritage tribute to the art of Korean tea making, the Cho Eui Seon Sa Culture Festival commemorating the birth of Cho Eui Seon Sa is held each year on the date of his birth. During this festival, many tourists and tea aficionados visit this site.

Topmeori beach, with a long beach and leafy pine trees.
Topmeori beach, located in Piseo-ri, Mangwoon-myeon, has such a shallow slope that there is a drastic difference of beach width between the high and low tides. During low tide, it boasts a beach extending 2km in length and 100m in width augmented with beautiful sea pines that have been designated as a natural forest preserve. Sushi restaurants line the long beach , providing fresh fish to compliment the rich seaside experience.

Cherry Blossom Road,where cherry blossom flowers sing in harmony
The cherry blossom trees, planted along the road which starts at Muan-eup and finishes at Doripi Haejae-myeon, attract drivers in spring. The trees, along with the seashore and field, create a pastoral scenery.
